Introduction to Botanicals in Watercolour | Jessie Rose Ford
This workshop focuses specifically on watercolour techniques used in botanical art, with minimal or no drawing involved.
It is a great introduction to watercolour for beginners and those who would like further experience and tips.
What will I learn?
You will gain an understanding in:
- Basic colour theory
- Mixing colours with watercolour
- Watercolour techniques including wet-in-wet, wet-on-dry, dry brush and lifting off colour
- When to use each technique and how wet to be working
- How to avoid muddy colours and not over-work the paper
Who is this workshop suitable for?
This workshop welcomes students of all experience levels.
You will return home with a painting and techniques page painted by yourself as well as the knowledge and confidence to continue with your own paintings.
