Join local professional artist and illustrator, Georgie Forbes from Lordy Dordie Art as she guides you in creating your own Neon Natives painting using Acrylics and Acrylic Inks and resist methods. Resist Art is an art technique that uses several layers to expose or define a design in negative space and is a great technique to learn because of its simple applications and creative flexibility.

What will I learn?

You will learn about building and layering up backgrounds, mark-making techniques to create texture and interest, working with acrylics and layering colours and finally creating a collection of native flowers resists which will be used as little flower windows into your colourful background.

Who is this workshop suitable for?

No experience required. Beginners welcome!
