Value Plus Portrait Drawing | Lyn Diefenbach

Stunning portraits can be created by using a very limited palette of 3 or 4 values.

Value deals with the lightness or darkness of a colour. Since we see objects and understand objects because of how dark or light they are, value is incredibly important - it is the key to the illusion of light and form.

What will I learn?

How to create form by using value relationships, a perfect prep for full colour.
