Intro to Oils - A Mini Workshop | Marcel Desbiens

Add colour to your morning or afternoon with this unique learn to paint in oil colour session, for which we supply all the materials and instruction you need to create an oil painting in 3.5 hours!
This casual, relaxed class is perfect for absolute beginners, as no prior painting experience is needed.

During the session, you’ll have the opportunity to experiment with oil colours in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere while creating your own unique artwork to take home with you.  We will also supply a frame, ready for when the painting has completely dried. 

What will I learn?

You will be guided with a demonstration of painting in oil colours. You will have a landscape scene to paint and will follow the tutor step-by-step to build up this unique way of creating an oil painting!

Anyone who wants to have fun experimenting with oil colours. If you’ve never painted before, this is the perfect, relaxed opportunity to give it a try.

This mini-workshop is also a great taster for anyone considering our Foundations in Oils weekly workshops, who would like to experiment with oil colour before committing.
