Course testimonials:
- The course is excellent! You will definitely learn a lot! Patrick is not only an amazing teacher but it is a pleasure to be with him in the same room. He is friendly, makes jokes, tells anecdotes, makes you feel comfortable, while being extremely professional. In addition, Yasmin was very helpful with the logistics, and the models were very professional. Thank you, and hopefully I'll be back to take another course soon! Sara. R from Woolloongaba
- Drawing has always been a passion for me and I have always believed that the way to become a true artist was to first understand the human figure and be able to render it accurately. Creativity could follow from then. I found this course to be inspiring as well as informative. The venue is comfortable and well lit. The models were exceptional. Patrick is that rare creature who can not only draw exceptionally well but also has the ability to explain how he does so. He is also relaxed, friendly and very supportive. I encourage all developing artists to enrol for this course. I will be returning for his advanced course as soon as I can. D.Robson from Brisbane
- An awesome in depth class, heaps of demos, drawing along with the teacher, and feedback on what you missed. I went in never having used charcoal and left hooked! The class is focused on gesture and constructive anatomy, so it's great if you want to get away from just copying the model and to actually understand what you are drawing, as well as bringing rhythm and style into your drawing. I have studying academic life drawing several days a week for a few years now and I found the class built on the foundations I had, and gave me new insights on how to bring life and interest to my figures. It would also be a great crash course for anyone starting out. Highly recommended Jenna D from Sydney!
