Contemporary Florals in Watercolour for Beginners | Annette Raff

Annette’s BEGINNER watercolour workshop is intended to be a relaxing environment for students with “LIMITED” to “NO” watercolour experience. Using flowers and plants as inspiration you’ll swiftly gain confidence in watercolour painting with Annette’s instruction and insightful demonstrations.

All materials are included. All you need to do is turn up!

What will I learn?

• an understanding of what materials to use and why, including paper, paint and brushes
• to paint with washes, layers and fundamental brush techniques
• an understanding of the painting process
• how to mix colours with some basic colour theory
• small tonal colour paintings (light wash to dark wash)

Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 12 students so that you will receive personal attention.

Who is this workshop suitable for?

This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners or for those who want to brush up on the fundamental techniques of watercolour.

What do I need to bring?

Access to all materials included.

You can bring a notepad and pen to take notes.
