About the workshop
Day 1: Come and explore the wonderful qualities of watercolour, mark-making and ink.

Working with artist-quality materials and the rich colours of Daniel Smith paints, you will learn skills to loosen up representational and expressive watercolour painting on paper.
Day 1 will build a collection of marks and sketches, developing you looser style, in preparation for Day 2.
Day 2: After building the foundation and familiarity of the subject and looser painting style on Day 1, Day 2 teaches skills of selection and composition from preparatory work, identifying and building of tone and working on dual paintings.
